About Me

My name is Botchway Bright Bernard (popularly called BB or Big Bright). I come from Kpando in the Volta Region, Ghana. I am the son of Kenneth Yao Botchway and the late Christine Patience Adzo Ekudi from Likpe-Abrani. My late mother was the main hub to what I am today and very proud of that... regardless.

I have been working in IT field since 2003, an era when computers were big boxes and floppy disks served as data storage.

Since those early days, I have consistently honed my abilities to keep pace with changes in the IT sphere and learned a lot about different IT services. I enjoy taking on new challenges with each project that comes my way.

I worked both as an official technical support for Electoral Commission, Ho Municipal in the Volta Region of Ghana, an IT Tutor at Tanyigbe SHS, Website Manager for Amenuveve and Volta Pads (Both are reputable NGOs in the Volta Region)  Am a self-employed professional, fulfilling roles such as technician, instructor, supporter, Website designer, and system administrator.

In May 2007, I extended the scope of "BB IT Solutions" in the region, aiming to offer dependable and prompt computer and network maintenance services to individual clients as well as small and medium-sized businesses.

I wrote books on Microsoft Word and Excel (practical books) which can be used at the Senior High and Tertiary levels respectively. Softcopies of these books can be purchased online by clicking here

In 2008, I did a Diploma course in Computers In IT & Business Management with Cambridge International College, UK (Accredited). I also did other Certificate courses in Microsoft Excel application with Earn & Excel and Website Design with AQSkill. I now hold Bsc. Information Technology from Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU).

Throughout my years of working as both an employee and self-employed individual, I have accumulated a wealth of knowledge, information, and experience across various IT domains.

Between 2003 and 2008, I taught students and workers computing in all Microsoft Office Suite Applications at Sonrise Christian School, where I gathered most of my teaching experience. I later joined Home FM as a presenter and a technician who loves playing Gospel songs to my lovely listerners.

In 2012, I joined Ghhana Education Service precisely Tanyigbe Senior High School where I upgraded my scope with lots of IT related courses and applications till now.

Since 2008, I doubled up as a Collation officer, Top Trainer and a Technician with Electoral Commission of Ghana who takes care of their Biometric system during election activities - all these summarized my capabilities in IT field by the Grace of God.

I love playing and watching football. Am a die-hard fan of Arsenal FC and I love riding motorbike and making new friends.

In reality, I love to do something useful than boastful. Training the young ones in IT to become entrepreneurs is my passion.

Am married to a beauty woman, Tsyawo
Benedicta  and blessed with two lovely children, Bryant and Brielle.

With my lovely family
Brielle

My late mother, Christine Patience Adzoa Ekudi was my inspiration in life.  She gave out her all to support me and this is evidence you're seeing today.  May her soul continue to rest in peace.
